I’m Osman Diril, born and raised in Istanbul before moving to the United States in 2021. What fascinates me most is capturing calm moments hidden inside the speed of life, the beauty that reveals itself when we slow down. Photography has been one of my greatest passions for as long as I can remember. It is the space where I can express my inner emotions and the point where what I feel and what I see in the world meet. My journey started in 1995 with my father’s manual camera from 1970. That first experience opened a door, and it is never closed. During my university years, through photography clubs, competitions, and project-based work, I gradually discovered my authentic perspective. This is how Dirilography was born. Today, while continuing my corporate career, I also continue to photograph, driven by the constant curiosity that began with that old camera.

Can I choose which photos to be edited?
Yes. After the session, you’ll receive a gallery of lightly edited previews. From there, you can select your favorites for final retouching.
Do you offer studio sessions?
At the moment, I offer on-location outdoor lifestyle sessions or sessions at your own place in the DC/Virginia area. Studio options may be available upon request, depending on availability.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
You’ll receive your edited gallery within 7-10 business days after making your selection. Larger sessions may take a bit longer, but I’ll always keep you updated.
Do you travel outside of DC / Virginia for photoshoots?
Yes — I offer travel sessions depending on availability and distance. Travel fees may apply. Feel free to message me with your location, and I’ll let you know the options.
